The 38^th Meeting of the European Section of the ISHR will be held from June 11 to 14, 2024 in Toulouse, a beautiful city located in the South West of France, close to the Pyrénées mountains and between the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea.

The meeting will take place at the University of Toulouse III - Paul Sabatier and will focus on basic and translational heart research. This unique european congress will be composed of 24 scientific sessions, 4 poster sessions and 5 plenary sessions, including ISHR award lectures. This will be an outstanding scientific event and we promise you four days of cutting-edge science and networking.

The organising committee has designed an exciting programme that covers many hot topics in cardiovascular research such as metabolism, inflammation and immunity in cardiac diseases. We will discuss novel insights into imaging in cardiology, hypoxia sensing and the translational relevance of recent discovered basic mechanisms of cardiac diseases.

Alongside sessions of high scientific quality, the highlights of the meeting include extensive early career investigator activities and social interactions. Early career researchers submitting the most original contributions will be selected for oral and poster presentation. Awards will be given to the best posters.
